In five minutes, I will be taking the train going back to Cairo. As mentioned earlier, I was in Alex mainly for business, but that shouldn’t stop me from doing other stuff at well. Last night’s dinner was great. Most of the food was lousy, but we had a serious degree of fun.
Business went well… It’s a smaller deal than what I expected, but I am not the greedy type. I am always happy to see business grow, and that’s wha will certainly come of this deal.
Later I had lunch with K and my inlaws, at some new fish place right by the sea. The food was great, but could always be better, nevertheless everything was very enjoyable.
Now I am back in the train worrying next week’s more than just overbooked agenda. What’s also not helping is that I’m taking the train back to Cairo. The ENR is getting filthier than ever, not to mention the unrealstic delays that is happenning (not that they were any better with punctualitty in the past), and to be added is the filthy smell in the cabins, the extra loud and sometimes disgusting commuters, and the fod and beverage service that makes you want to puke. The amount of vibrations of the wagon is getting so high now, that you could hardly type any longer on your laptop. Lucky enough, I am using my E61 to write this post and to cut down my boredom, by boring you more. The train experience is almost ruining my weekend. I will “try” to do some reading hoping that the tim,e passes quickly. I think that I will stop using the train in the future, driving to Alex is startring to be more enjoyable these days.
