Accor Security

by JPierre on December 10, 2006

All of Accor hotels in Egypt are proving to be a pain to deal with. Actually I can’t remember a day that I have been to any Accor hotel, and never had a fight with the security bastards sitting at the door. They are not stationed there to protect the hotel, but they are there to make life a leaving hell for you.

Ever since the attacks on tourists, Egyptian hotels are equipped with metal detecters at all enterances. These metal detecters actually go off if you pass naked underneath, as they are set to such an extent that they beep at the natural minirals running in your body. To make things worse, the people usually checking on you (An officer, a civlilian dressed policeman, and a security person) are the most ignorant bastards ever.

However, not all hotels at these bad with the way you are treated at the enterance, actually, the only place where you get such a f***ing welcome is at Accor hotels. I have been really holding myself from writing this post, but today they really made me go mad. They check you with their broken metal detecter, but never open your bag or purse. How ignorant can people be?
