Having been an Outlook user since 2000 for work, I have built an Outlook pst file as big as 7 Gb. Now I have decided to move to Mac. All the migrations needed were done successfully, except for the wicked pst file. In my previous post I have mentioned that my first trial was a failure, so I had to find a "working" alternative which will also move the attachments associated with the emails. So I did some more googling which landed me in a forum thread where they have been a little piece of software called O2M which will export Outlook mail to be able to be used with Mac OS apps, such as Mail and Entourage, for as little as 10 bucks. I have to admit it worked like a charm – absolutely no pain.
What really makes me wonder, why the f*** does MS make software that are incompatible with each other?
Anyways, I have just posted the solution here. Cheers
