Nile FM, No FM

Posted on | September 28, 2006 |

Last night, coming back from iftar, I was not able to recieve Nile FM on my car’s radio. Today, I was driving to Nasr City and got the same problem. Now, I was sitting in a meeting and I got a message from Nile FM saying that I could “still” listen to Nile FM via Satellite or Online. If I should listen via these methods then where is the FM?
Guess that it’s no FM after all. Same problem exists for Negoum FM. Nile Radio Productions is off air.

I actually had no idea Nile FM even existed until I heard it in the background on a YouTube video someone from Cairo had posted. So I googled it and I’m listening to it over the internet here in San Francisco.

And that’s about enough out of me.

Maybe because you were located in an area surrounded by barriers. A closed place maybe. (if in a car, surrounded by buildings, etc.)

Actually No. I was on Salah Salem road. And this is almost 2 years ago, and back then they had a serious problem once.
