Blogging from the Middle of the Nile

After a really long and tough day, managed to get on a falouka and relax for a couple of hours in the middle of the nile. This is really very relaxing..
It was really cool to see my future flat from there, infact, it had some of the lights on as there was some workers :) … The best thing about it is that after like going 20 - 30 meters in the middle of the nile, you get isolated from the Cairo Traffic, all you have to do is enjoy the north breeze and relax to the sound of the water. There are some noise factors, but it's one of those noises I like to hear. The noise of planes flying right over in their landing path in HECA (Cairo Intl.) runway 5R. Amazing sight. :)
