Why Shop&Ship Sucks?

Posted on | April 27, 2006 |

Because it does. They are just a f***ing rip off, with a lousy service. If you can avoid them, DO IT!

Update: Well, I thought that I’d let you know that you should also read this, where I clarify why I was and still am so pissed from that service. Unfortunatelly, I am not aware of any other company providing the same service.

Well because I had ordered something which could not be shipped to Egypt. They did not inform me that they had recieved it, and I had totally forgotten about it. As I got my CC statement, I remembered about it and when I check, I discovered that it was in the US mailbox, but it was not added to my account. After some investigation, they claimed that it had the wrong address on it. Being sure that the address was correct, I asked them to send me the P/I, which they didn’t as they found out that the address was correct. They told me to return the goods to the supplier (who will not accept as it was past the return date), and they also informed me that to return it back to the supplier (which is in the same city) it will cost me USD 25. This was when I was like F*** YOU! Apparently, a complaint letter did pull some strings. They will get back to me on Sunday, either telling that the supplier got the goods and will refund me, or they will give me a compensation. But to tell you the truth. All in all they don’t suck to that extent. They are quite OK.

That’s exactly why I avoid them.
