The Egyptian Presidential Elections; Paralysing the Country

Posted on | September 10, 2005 |

The newest excuse going around by the statee owned businesses and authorities is that things were in a mess because of the elections.
I was supposed to recieve a parcel from Alexandria sent almost a week ago via EMS (The Egyptian Courier Service) and to this date it has not arrived yet.
At the same time, some documents have been sent to be delivered inside the city, and for four days it has not been delivered yet.
The last thing is the internet connection. Besides having lousy ISPs all over the country, the main distribution center for Cairo is having problems.
