LX 237 Landed Safely
Posted on | September 19, 2005 |
I arrived safely to Zurich. I started quite complicated at the airport, as the check-in desk clerk at Cairo airport assumed (Egyptians are the best assumptionists in the world), that I will be wanting to have my luggage in Stockholm. I was like WTF, I am not to go to Stockholm until tomorrow morning… Errr, ain’t I glad to be out of there for some time.
The flight was OK, but the service didn’t amuse me. There was a basket filled with drinking glasses which fell of the trolly on the plane. As usual the entertainment system had to crash (as they are using Linux), which left me with a boring 30 minutes doing nothing.
Now I am in my hotel room in Zurich, and to my amazement it was better than expected… There is no life around here, and in any case I will be going to bed early. I will quit this writing for the moment, go grab a beer and go to bed.
Did not grab any pictures today.
PS. I tried to post this last night, but with the sky rocketing rate at the hotel, I decided to wait a little bit more and post it from the Airport next morning. So here I am, in the amazingly beautiful Zurich airport waiting for my flight to Stockholm. This is my first time to be going to Sweden, so I really don’t know what to expect. In any case, I am really looking forward for it.
