Google Talk II: The IM and VoIP battles

This is just my personal view on the current very interesting situation regarding the IM’s and VoIP providers, specially after the launch of Google Talk. When it comes to IM, I hate to say it, but I use MSN as for the popularity and that most of my contacts could be found there. VoIP, Skype [...]

Google Talk

Finally, after long talks and rumors, Google has finally released the Google Talk (the Google IM). My first impression after installing it and trying it out is as follows.

Clean
Neat
Straight to the point without any Mambo Jambo
Still lacks a lot of features

Currently the main features available are IM and Voice chatting - sorry no video conferencing [...]

Zamalek Fans Forum

It’s quite interesting to learn that the Zamalek Fans Forum are running a thread on me regarding my previous posts on Mortada Mansour, and the scandals that were happening in the White Sports Palace.
I am not really aware if the thread is positive or negative. I have however tried to access the forums to search [...]

Got back home, read the book that has really got me attached to these days until my eyes started getting soggy and blurry. I decided to retreat under the sheets at the same time listening to some good old G’N’R.The [...]

The End of another Nice Day and Weekend

After an amazing weeken in Alex, I just got back this morning. I had to wake up at 0545 in the morning to take the 0700 train from Alex to Cairo. The trip wasn’t bad at all, been reading the full 2 hours, I then arrived home, dropped my things and headed to work. To [...]

Bad Connection

We have been having nothing but really sucky and bad connection from ourISP these days. Other than the connection itself, the support has notbeen any better. It’s a really “Pissing off” situation, specially thatyou really have a lot to be done online from work. I just wish that…Nevermind…
I need another break… Yes AGAIN!
